Quality Engineer

My client has been a leading manufacturer in the aerospace and defense sectors for 75+ years. They are a leading technology company with a rich history in precision control components and systems. They have high growth plans, and this is an outstanding opportunity to get in at ground level as they add new products and processes to their current portfolio. About the Role I’m hiring a Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer to support program quality, supplier quality, and internal production quality initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This is in the southwest corner of the Minneapolis suburbs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, driving root cause and corrective action, working cross-functionally, and supporting high-quality delivery for aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing programs. What you’ll do: Support program, customer, supplier, and internal quality initiatives Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities Review drawings, specifications, flowdowns, and First Article Inspections Support customer and internal audits Prepare and review acceptance data packages Use quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, MSA, CAPA, and risk mitigation Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and customers to resolve quality issues Help reduce scrap, rework, and repair through continuous improvement efforts Ideal background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field Quality experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or a related environment preferred Ability to read drawings, schematics, and technical specifications Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, or related Quality Management Systems Experience with FAIs, audits, corrective actions, and supplier quality is a plusStrong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a direct impact on quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr JW Industrial Partners
