Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student during the school day
- Monitor and manage medical needs, including:
- Seizure disorders (Diastat administration)
- Tracheostomy care
- G-tube feedings
- Type 1 diabetes (insulin administration, pump support)
- Administer medications per physician orders
- Follow individualized care plans (IEPs/medical plans)
- Maintain a safe and supportive school environment
- Active LPN - License Practical Nurse
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred (not required)
- Weekly pay
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
- Paid training for specialized skills (trach, G-tube, etc.)
