Family Medicine Physician with Faculty

Family Medicine PhysicianAs a full-time Family Medicine Physician in Valparaiso, IN, you will coordinate and provide proactive care for patients with chronic conditions, as well as identify wellness and preventive services for clinical patients. This role involves seeing patients two days per week in a clinical setting and serving as faculty for our Physician Residency Program, teaching residents during the other two days.This position offers a unique blend of patient care and medical education, allowing you to shape the next generation of physicians while delivering high-quality care.Faculty ResponsibilitiesAssist in arranging resident rotations to meet program goals and objectives.Provide academic counseling and mentorship to residents.Participate in on-site program reviews to ensure quality and compliance with program standards.Engage in the recruitment and selection of new residency candidates.Perform additional duties as assigned related to both clinical care and academic development.RequirementsGraduation from an approved medical schoolCompleted Residency ProgramBoard certificationDEA certificationCPR certificationIndiana State Medical LicenseContinuing medical educationTransportation and valid drivers license
