Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our I CARE team in the Respiratory Department. Essential duties include performing quality respiratory treatments and testing on all age groups. Assist with education for patients and families. Help develop plans for successful discharges. The Respiratory team is critical to both Inpatient and Outpatient settings. Position involves outpatient testing (Pulmonary Function Tests, Stress Tests, EKGs) as well as care for inpatients and the emergency department. Ability to work with and have knowledge of various respiratory equipment is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Ability to work with all age groups is necessary. Ability to educate patients and families on respiratory diseases and medications is expected. Various testing such as Pulmonary Function Tests, Stress Tests, and EKGs is part of the role.
