Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Contract | Days (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult through geriatric population across Medical-Surgical, MS/Telemetry, and PCU units
• Float as required to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the facility
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4–5 on PCU and 1:5–6 on MS/MS Tele units
• Utilize Epic (required) , Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework in daily clinical practice
• Work every other weekend (approximately 6 weekends over a 13-week contract) and cover applicable major holidays per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Willingness and ability to float to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the facility
• All requested time off (max 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests may be made post-offer or onsite, and no RTO is permitted during orientation week
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a broad range of Medical-Surgical, MS/Telemetry, and PCU diagnoses
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Demonstrated flexibility in float pool or multi-unit environments
