Position Overview

An experienced Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment serving the West Kauai community. The LTC RN delivers compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents within the facility's Long-Term Care unit, managing clinical assessments, medication administration, care planning, and interdisciplinary team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct ongoing clinical assessments and maintain precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR).
Administer medications and therapeutic treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
Develop, evaluate, and update individualized long-term care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive resident care.
Maintain a dependable, resident-centered approach while managing assignments independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure: Active, unencumbered Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing.
Technology: Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
Schedule: Flexibility to work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays as required.
