It Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and audiovisual issues while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, audiovisual equipment, and business applications.

• Respond to support requests via phone, email, ticketing system, and remote support tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.

• Support Windows and macOS environments.

• Assist users with application support, installations, configurations, and general technical questions.

• Provide support for conference room technology, presentation equipment, and audiovisual systems.

• Document, track, and update incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.

• Escalate issues when appropriate and follow through to resolution.

• Assist with device deployments, equipment setup, and basic asset management activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience.

• Experience supporting Windows and macOS devices.

• Familiarity with printers, mobile devices, conferencing solutions, and audiovisual equipment.

• Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools.

• Experience with software deployment, inventory tracking, or asset management is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
