Senior Customer Engineer

As a hybrid role, the Senior Customer Engineer will manage technical relationships in the SLED (State, Local, and Education) sectors, focusing on customer adoption, value realization, and commercial accountability while leveraging AI-augmented workflows to enhance public sector solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead technical discovery and deliver tailored product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts for public sector clients Oversee technical onboarding and implementation, ensuring rapid time-to-value and addressing integration challenges Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, driving account growth and translating platform capabilities into ROI Required Qualifications Proven experience with SLED, Local Government, or Municipal agencies, understanding public sector buying cycles and compliance Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Customer Engineering Broad technical expertise in web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture Track record of operating in a quota-carrying environment with knowledge of SaaS metrics and public sector sales cycles Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills for engaging with government C-suite and officials Virtual Vocations Inc
