Position Type: Certificated Specialist/ School Psychologist Date Posted: 6/16/2026 Location: District Wide SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST Anticipated Start Date: August 13, 2026 QUALIFICATIONS Possession of a Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certificate – School Psychologist required. Masters in School Psychology preferred. Ability to administer diagnostic procedures to assess the educational & cognitive abilities and needs of students. Ability to design, implement and monitor intervention strategies, goals and objectives. Knowledge of current state and federal special education regulations and ability to apply the regulations to ensure compliance. Ability to provide support and direction for student needs as a multi-disciplinary team lead. Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to write comprehensive assessment/evaluation reports & synthesize data. Ability to work closely with community agencies. Experience in special education and/or children's mental health programs preferred. Ability to work effectively in a positive manner with students, staff, and parents from a diverse cultural, economic and social background. Bilingual in English and Spanish, highly preferred. Ability to be highly organized and maintain timelines for compliance. Knowledge of eligibility criteria and methodology for identification based on professional standards, norms & best practices. Ability to collect data and other measurement metrics for progress monitoring.
