Practitioner-assisted stretching is designed to increase and maintain range of motion and improve overall quality of life. Role Description The Fitness Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Mt. Pleasant, SC. This role involves guiding members through practitioner-assisted stretching sessions using Stretch Zone’s proprietary systems and protocols, while maintaining a safe, comfortable environment. The Fitness Associate will perform initial movement assessments, explain services and benefits, and tailor stretches to individual needs and fitness levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing and cleaning equipment, maintaining studio cleanliness, supporting studio operations, and contributing to member retention through excellent customer service. The role also includes educating members on stretching best practices, assisting with scheduling, and collaborating with the team to meet studio goals. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in fitness instruction, basic anatomy and physiology, and safe exercise techniques. Candidates should possess skills in customer service, communication, and relationship-building with diverse member populations. Candidates should possess skills in observing movement patterns, following structured protocols, and documenting member sessions accurately. Candidates should possess skills in time management, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced studio environment. Certification or coursework in personal training, exercise science, kinesiology, physical therapy aide, or related field is preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods, assist with member positioning on tables, and perform moderate physical activity safely. Comfort working with people of varying ages, fitness levels, and mobility, with a professional and inclusive approach. Previous experience in a fitness studio, wellness center, sports performance, or healthcare support setting is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
