Human Services Planner/Evaluator II (NS) Position Number: 60041058 • Grade: NC17 Description Of Work The Adolescent Health Coordinator-Behavioral Health Specialist is housed in the School, Adolescent and Child Health Unit (SACH), within the Whole Child Health Section (WCHS) at the Division of Child and Family Well‑Being (DCFW). The SACH Unit supports the whole‑child approach with a focus in schools, school‑based health centers (SHCs), child health and care management programs in local departments and community settings. This position serves as the Title V State Adolescent Health Coordinator. In this capacity, it supports the deliverables of the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant and provides state‑level leadership on adolescent health priorities within the Whole Child Health Section as well as in partnership with other state and national agencies. It provides behavioral health expertise to a number of programs and committees through consultation, technical assistance, training, and presentations. The position supports programmatic, organizational, and budget functions within the School Adolescent Health Unit and Child Behavioral Health Unit and works in partnership with the SACH Unit Program Coordinator to support School Health Center and Vision Screening Programming. Minimum Education and Experience Planner: master’s degree in public or human service administration or a human services programmatic field, from an appropriately accredited institution, and two years of human service experience, one of which must have been in human service program planning; or Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of progressive administrative or consultative experience in human service program, one of which must have been in human service program planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Evaluator: Master’s degree in the field of psychology, sociology, or social work, and two years of experience in research and evaluation, using statistical methodologies in human service programs; or Bachelor’s degree in one of the above fields of study and four years of experience in research, evaluation, and statistical application in the human service field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $60,881 – $106,544. Recruitment Range: $60,881 – $66,242.
