Senior Data EngineerSOSi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to support a US government customer in Chantilly, VA. This role requires working with a team of developers, data scientists, SMEs, and cyber analysts to design, develop, build, and analyze data management systems. The data engineer will work with and analyze our client's challenges and provide solutions by designing and implementing batch and streaming data pipelines.Essential Job DutiesDevelop and perform ETL on large unstructured datasets.Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data and platform services.Qualifications Minimum RequirementsActive in-scope TS/SCI clearance with poly. This security clearance requires U.S. citizenship. Candidates will not be nominated for new clearances.5-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer (or equivalent), with a STEM degree (field such as computer science, statistics, data analytics, computer engineering, mathematics, etc.).Experience with services including Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and PrefectExperience containerizing applications using Docker and deployments on KubernetesFamiliarity with Linux-based systemsSolid understanding of DevOps principles (automation, monitoring, reliability)Preferred QualificationsExperience in the US Intelligence Community.Additional Information Work EnvironmentOffice setting with a combination of desk work and meetings.Working at SOSi All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
