2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/Feed Mill Technician

We are looking for candidates with technical expertise to join our team as a 2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/Feed Mill Technician at Athens, Alabama, Feed Mill. This Position will be responsible for ingredient requisition, operation of processing equipment, and coordination of feed dispatch.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews feeds, orders, and inputs data into spreadsheets
• Schedules, records, and files reclaim feed request
• Operates scale house and receives BOL for all ingredients
• Coordinates/pairs loads and dispatches drivers to farms
• Delegates workload to drivers, while trying to evenly balance driving hours
• Reviews feed mill bins and farm bins to ensure a fluid unloading process
• Inputs ingredients, vendors, and customers in the Control program
• Operates equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, pelleting, and loadout.
• Completes FDA reports
• Maintains Bio-Security Protocol at all times, along with routine sanitation
• Obtains week-ending inventories
• Engages in weekly Plant fumigation
• Operates equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, sweepers
• May perform other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of business English and Arithmetic
• Computer experience is necessary, fluid in Microsoft Excel.
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
• Ability to perform task with accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to maintain records, and to generate reports which require extreme accuracy
• Ability to multi task in high stress environment
