Pediatric Case Manager Rn

Title: Pediatric Case Manager RN

Schedule: - Shift: 5x8 days - Possible shift times: 07:00–15:30; 07:30–16:00; 08:00–16:30; 08:30–17:00 - Weekend requirement: Yes — every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4-week schedule

Assignment Details: - Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements: - License: Alaska RN license in hand required - Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; pediatric experience required; acute care hospital experience required - EMR: Epic experience required - Certifications: ACM-RN preferred; BLS preferred (not required)

Roles & Responsibilities: - Manage pediatric case management and discharge planning processes - Coordinate care and ensure utilization review and prior authorization workflows are effectively managed - Work with an interdisciplinary team to support patient care needs - Monitor and maintain awareness of CMS/core measures and utilize InterQual/Milliman criteria

Compliance / Notes: - Free parking available - COVID-19 vaccination is not required - Compliance requires 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years - Only one pre-approved time-off request permitted per 13-week assignment (maximum of 5 days) - Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year - Traveler tenure limited to 1 calendar year on assignment with a 6-month break required before returning to the same facility.
