The Construction Superintendent oversees the planning and execution of large residential construction projects, ensuring all aspects from scheduling to quality control are managed efficiently. This role requires a full-time on-site presence to coordinate subcontractors, allocate resources, enforce safety and compliance standards, and maintain project momentum using tools like Procore and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
• Supervise daily on-site activities for quality and safety compliance
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with project goals
• Monitor budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
• Generate regular project reports for stakeholders
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and construction standards
• Interpret blueprints and construction documents accurately
• Identify and resolve problems promptly to minimize delays

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in construction management
• OSHA Safety Certification
• Proficient with construction scheduling and budget management
• Knowledge of risk management and safety compliance
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Effective problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation
