This role is responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable handling a variety of accounting-related duties. Opportunity for growth, additional responsibilities, and additional hours. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Data entry
- Process invoices, handle accounts payable and receivable, and track expenses.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with general ledger postings.
- Support monthly close processes and assist with the preparation of financial statements.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and perform account reconciliations.
- Organize and maintain financial documents in a secure and easily accessible manner.
- Assist with audits, budget preparation, and other accounting projects as needed. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure effective and efficient financial operations.
- Associate degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in an accounting role, with familiarity in various accounting functions.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
