Job Summary:
The healthcare professional role is based in a medical-surgical specialty unit located in the region. This position involves providing care to adult patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), transient ischemic attacks (TIA), seizures, and respiratory conditions. The role offers an opportunity to work in a technologically advanced facility known for clinical excellence and patient outcomes, supporting a patient population with diverse needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in NIH and Swallow Screen preferred; experience in Neuro Medicine-Surgical nursing is ideal; minimum of 0 years of experience; must be competent in dysrhythmia detection and management.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro patient care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required if needed.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have all Pennsylvania and FBI fingerprint clearances submitted and uploaded before start. The position requires availability for holidays as determined during the phone screening. All necessary facility education will be provided during orientation. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic health records and is equipped with Mindray vital sign machines, GE EKG, and cardiac monitors.
