Understanding of US Government/Military Contracts Preparing and printing Government spec bar code labels Preparing and printing Government spec exterior packaging labels Preparing Government WAWF Documents Submitting Government WAWF for shipment Shipping VIA Government VSM System Shipping VIA Fed Ex/UPS for Destination Shipments Assisting in the receipt and matching of paperwork to our PO and US Government Contract. RECENT GOVERNMENT WAWF DOCUMENT CREATION, and EXPERIENCE IN THE CREATION OF GOVERNMENT BAR CODE /EXTERIOR LABELS IS MANDATORY! VSM EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NOT BE CONTACTED. You need strong computer skills, be detail oriented, and be able to function in a fast pace growth environment without mistakes. High School Diploma Required. Some College Preferred. Position has a base hourly rate with a bonus program (rate based upon experience). Sales/Purchasing Admin. (experienced or trainee) Print quotes from vendors Use quote calculator (provided) to mark up the cost provided by our vendors Price the items for sale to the Government based upon a range provided by management Enter required quotes per day on the Government bid board via our EDI System Perform “contact fixes” on vendor accounts via phone/email. Make follow up calls on quotes not received back Contact vendors to receive better pricing Initially learn to price quotes smaller quotes. As you gain experience the size/complexity of quotes you will be trusted with is increased. Maintain an acceptable hit rate of on items bid monthly Our sales process is NOT a telemarketing or phone sales job. We bid via a bid board to the US Government. THERE IS NO SELLING, or CLOSING REQUIRED. Just some basic negotiating with vendors to increase both our chances of success. You will need strong computer skills, be detail oriented, as you must be able to put up lots of quotes without mistakes. The position is very rewarding as the more you bid, the more orders you will receive. Results start in the first couple of weeks, not months down the road. Some quoting/inside sales experience is preferred. However we have had great luck training the right candidates. High School Diploma Required. Some College Preferred. Position has a base hourly rate and a variable comp program based upon quotes put up, and orders received. (Variable incentive can be from 0% to 25% of monthly salary Warehouse/Packer Position We are looking for full time operations workers to pack orders to be shipped to the US Government/Military. The position requires light lifting, the ability to put labels on bags, bag/box items, and MOST IMPORTANTLY keep accurate counts on what you are packaging. If you are a hard worker, and capable of providing accurate counts on what you package please apply. Accurately label packages Keep count of items you are counting Pack items in boxes or pallets Weigh items Provide accurate info to shipping Maintain traceability of product during process Prior forklift experience is preferred but not required.
