Basic Skill Requirements Good time management and organization skills Able to meet deadlines consistently Ability to multitask Ability to prioritize projects Good with technology and can pick up new software quickly Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping best practices Duties Invoice and properly apply payments for cash sales. Perform accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition Perform all activities related to accounts payable, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes Conduct reconciliation of all accounts Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data. Track down errors when necessary to ensure accounts balance Notifies Finance Manager or Owner of any errors or inaccuracies found Works with the company accountant to ensure all required tax filings are completed accurately and on-time Sees that financial records are flawlessly organized.
