MIG Aluminum Welder / Fabricator Location: Concord, NC Pay Rate: $20.00 - $28.00 / hour (based on experience) The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Aluminum Welder / Fabricator to join their team in Concord, NC. This position focuses on building high-quality aluminum structures, frames, and custom components in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment. Quality is the name of the game here!
What You Will Do
What You Will Do
- Perform MIG aluminum welding for structural frames, enclosures, and custom components.
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum parts according to blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
- Cut, bend, drill, and shape aluminum using fabrication tools such as press brakes, shears, and saws.
- Grind and finish welds to meet both structural requirements and high cosmetic standards.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency before moving to the next production phase.
- 1+ years of aluminum welding and fabrication experience in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in MIG aluminum welding (TIG welding experience is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and work orders.
- Hands-on experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment.
