About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging agriculture-focused lesson plans for children.
• Facilitate outdoor activities that promote exploration and appreciation of nature.
• Supervise and mentor children during hands-on gardening and farming projects.
• Collaborate with parents to discuss children's progress and interests in agriculture.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children in your care.
• Integrate nutrition education into daily activities to promote healthy eating habits.
• Participate in community outreach programs to enhance the local agricultural awareness.
• Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and agriculture integration.

Requirements:

• Passion for early childhood education and a love for agriculture.
• Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage children effectively.
• Knowledge of gardening, farming, or sustainability practices is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Creative mindset with a knack for developing fun and educational activities.
• Background check clearance required for working with children.
