Obstetrics & Gynecology

Seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN to provide hospital-based 24-hour call coverage. The provider will manage labor and delivery, obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, inpatient rounding, admissions, and surgical procedures while working alongside an established OB/GYN team.

Compensation: $4440 per 24 hours.

Schedule

Start Date: August 31, 2026 (orientation completed prior to start)

Assignment Length: 6 months

Coverage: 3–4 24-hour call shifts per month

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Consecutive shift blocks may be available to accommodate travel

Practice Setting

Hospital-based

Inpatient coverage (clinic privileges obtained if future clinic coverage is needed)

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage

Perform inpatient rounding and admissions

Manage labor and delivery patients

Perform emergency OB/GYN procedures

Collaborate with the existing OB/GYN team

Practice Details

Adult female patient population

Approximately 50–75 deliveries per month

Provider will not work solo

Required Procedures

Dilation and Curettage (D&C)

Cesarean Sections

Other inpatient OB/GYN procedures

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Active Washington medical license

BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)

Epic experience required

Required Recent Clinical Activity (Past 24 Months)

Obstetrics

Documentation of:

100 obstetric patients

At least 15 Cesarean sections

At least 30 vaginal deliveries

Gynecology

Documentation of:

50 gynecology patients

Additional Information

Coverage is currently hospital-only, though clinic privileges may be obtained if future needs expand

COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)

Orientation completed before the first scheduled shift
