About the Role:
ORF Home Inspections is looking for a skilled Sewer Lateral Scope Inspector to join our growing team in O'Fallon, MO! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a critical part in helping homeowners and buyers understand the condition of their sewer systems — delivering peace of mind one inspection at a time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sewer lateral video inspections using push-camera and lateral launch equipment
- Identify defects such as root intrusion, pipe cracks, offsets, blockages, and deterioration
- Document findings with detailed reports, photos, and video footage for clients
- Communicate inspection results clearly and professionally to agents, and clients
- Maintain and troubleshoot inspection equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Manage daily inspection schedule and travel to residential and commercial job sites
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices on every job
Requirements:
- Prior experience with sewer scope inspections, plumbing, or pipeline inspection preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify pipe defects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing reporting
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites
- Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and meet deadlines
- Professional, customer-focused demeanor with a commitment to quality service
- Retired Plumbers is a plus
