Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform radionuclide procedures such as organ imaging and function studies, assisting physicians as needed.
  
  
• 
  Prepare, administer, and handle radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate diagnostic images using PACS systems to confirm proper identification and quality.
  
  
• 
  Calibrate and assay radioisotope equipment, maintaining accurate documentation for regulatory compliance.
  
  
• 
  Follow safety procedures for radiation protection for both patients and staff.
  
  
• 
  Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, ensuring contamination-free environments.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid NJDEP license with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  
  
• 
  Certified by ARRT or NMTCB, with BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with GE equipment, SPECT, and SPECT/CT systems.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong communication skills adapted to diverse patient populations.
  
  
• 
  Experience in busy hospital settings preferred.
