divh2Title Specialist - Winter Springs Operation Center/h2pInsight Credit Union is looking for a skilled individual to assist in title processing and recording to ensure successful completion of loans for the Credit Union./ppThe Title Specialist will prepare, process and file all paperwork necessary with the DMV to ensure proper lien recordings. Schedule will be based on the needs of the department./ppstrong *Driving requirement to the local DMV on a weekly or bi-weekly basis./strong/ppFunctions Responsibilities:/pulliPerform DMV titling, tracking, recording and maintenance with all States to ensure credit union lien recording. Prepare legal transfer documentation to submit to the State Motor Vehicle department. Investigate and research titles to correct and/or perfect our liens. Work with members, dealers and States on complex issues related to vehicle titles. Send necessary documentation to organizations, businesses, financial institutions, and members to complete title work./liliAssist members and employees with all lien questions and paid loan lien questions. Work proactively with Retail staff and the Business Services department to make sure they have all documents in a timely manner to perfect our lien./liliMonitor and track the receipt of appropriate titles, insurance and DMV documentation from dealers. Conduct title audits, ensuring all titles were obtained./liliBalance departmental General Ledgers as is relates to tag and title fees./liliPerforms other job related duties as assigned./li/ulpExperience: One year to three years of similar or related experience./ppEducation: A high school education or GED./ppInterpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication./ppPhysical Requirements: This is a largely sedentary role, however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending as necessary./ppWork Environment: This job operates in a clerical, office setting.
