Business Development Representative - Construction

Location: South Florida (Monroe, Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties) Industry Experience Required Company Overview A leading independent manufacturer and supplier of ready-mix concrete and concrete block in South Florida is seeking motivated sales professionals to join its growing team. The company supports a wide range of construction projects and is known for delivering quality materials and reliable service across the region. Position Overview We are looking for sales professionals who thrive on building strong relationships and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will be well-respected in the construction industry and experienced in selling concrete or related building materials. Key Responsibilities Promote and sell ready-mix concrete and concrete block to contractors, builders, and construction companies Identify prospective customers and upcoming construction projects Establish new customer accounts and secure project opportunities in a timely manner Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners Meet or exceed established sales targets and revenue goals Address and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints Coordinate with internal departments including customer service, accounting, and operations Assist with revenue collection when necessary Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Account Executive or Sales Representative in the construction industry Strong negotiation and customer service skills Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team Strong relationship-building and communication skills Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company safety standards Additional Requirements Ability to attend onsite meetings at the Miami office when required Commitment to maintaining a safe and drug‑free workplace 401(k) Company Car Health Insurance Vision Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr SGF Global
