Job Overview A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney in Ridgeland, MS. The ideal candidate will represent creditors in federal bankruptcy court, handling tasks such as drafting motions and defending claims. Defend motions to value. Draft pleadings to protect creditor interests. Ensure accurate and timely updates to the firm's systems of record. Collaborate with attorneys, support staff, and firm members. Requirements Over eight years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent fields. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work accurately and productively. Proactive relationship development in the industry. Preferred knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA. Experience in appellate practice is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar License in the state of MS (required); multiple licenses are a plus.
