We are looking for: Medical Oncology, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Proposed Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8-6p This role has a hiring range of $18.75-35.00/hr based on experience. Our Medical Oncology technicians thrive in a fast-paced environment, can multi-task, will develop excellent venipuncture skills, have high attention to detail and will gain experience in chemotherapy treatments. What you’ll do: Assist in chemotherapy protocols Drug calculations as they relate to treatment plans Vertical-flow hood and maintenance Clinical studies/trials Extravasation protocols/safety Administration of chemotherapy, requiring excellent venipuncture skills and IV catheter placement Coordinate and manage client communication/education via phone and email Manage appointments, obtain histories, invoicing, patient discharges, scheduling Accurate and thorough documentation in medical records Clinical studies/trials Who you are: State Registered Veterinary Technician license required Prior veterinary experience required, previous oncology experience desired Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Perks and Benefits include: Comprehensive Health Benefits, Vision and Dental HSA, FSA and Dependent Care FSA 401k with employer match Elective short-term disability and company paid long term disability Elective Life and AD&D Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Shift Differentials and On-call Pay Uniform Allowance Employee Pet Discounts and Pet Insurance Continuing education opportunities and assistance program Strong career growth and personal development opportunities Come as you are.
