As a CAAS Technical Senior, you will help drive engagements, coordinating internal and external communications and liaison between auditors and customers. In addition, you assist in developing training on US GAAP focused areas such as ASC 842 Leases, ASC 606 Contract with Customers, among others. The Client Accounting Advisory Services team members collaborate with partners in Tax, Consulting, and Audit regarding customers’ accounting processes and reporting to facilitate decision-making, risk management, profitability improvement, and achieving strategic objectives.WHAT WILL YOU DOServe as a key point of contact on technical/special projects for customersPerform US GAAP conversions, document technical memos such as ASC 606 analysis, ASC 805 memos, prepare US GAAP financial statements,Perform ASC 842 implementationsAnalyze general ledger accounts for errors, discrepancies, accruals and deferrals to ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition aligns with financial reporting standardsConduct and review in-depth financial analysis, provide expert financial perspective, assess risk, analyze efficiency, and inform business decisions made by the customerCommunicate with customers when analysis generates results outside of expectationsPrepare various ad hoc and monthly recurring reports and analyses for managementMaintain clear communication with internal teams and customers to build trust and relationshipsOptimize workflows and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracyEngage with businesses across various industries to strategize and achieve their goalsCollaborate with Tax, Audit, and Consulting teams to deliver comprehensive customer serviceWork with innovative professionals who inspire personal growth and excellenceWHAT WILL YOU NEEDBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance5+ years of public audit experience or 3+ years of public audit experience and 2+ years of client accounting advisory experience (many of our team members have a background in both public accounting and industry)A strong understanding of US GAAPStrong understanding of financial statements and general ledger accountingStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work quickly and accurately with significant attention to detail both independently and collaboratively within a team.Full ownership of meeting deadlines, including working necessary hours to meet expectations.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work well under deadline pressureTime management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and clients simultaneouslyExcellent Excel skills; proficient in spreadsheet design to facilitate complex analysisWHY YOU SHOULD JOIN USWe believe that when our employees are able to thrive in all facets of life, their work and impact are that much greater.That's right – all aspects of life, not just your life as an employee, because we understand that there's life beyond your job.
