MRI Technologist

The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients to meet the needs of the modality and department. The technologist utilizes sterile techniques when necessary, operates complex imaging equipment, assists physicians as needed, and works independently to produce superior quality imaging studies. The role requires routine work within at least two qualifying modalities, including Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Bone Densitometry. Qualifications Required education: graduate of an accredited JCERT program. Required license: ARRT registered and holding post primary certification in a minimum of one additional qualifying discipline; must obtain registry within specified timeframe—CT 6‑9 months, Mammography 12 months, MRI 12‑18 months; must complete CEU requirements for re‑certification and be BLS certified. Required experience: previous experience in a multi‑disciplined radiology department. Preferred experience: at least two years in an advanced discipline.
