Shore Outpatient Surgicenter is hiring a per diem GI Tech! Welcome to Shore Outpatient Surgicenter At Shore Outpatient Surgicenter, we focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. GI Technician/Endoscopy operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during both simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and GI technician collaborate in the procedure room to create ideal conditions for achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments. Additional duties of the GI technician include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred
• Current BLS required, ACLS preferred

Starting Pay: $24.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.) Benefits USPI offers the following benefits, subject to employment status:
