Part Time IT Recruiter

Donnelly & Moore is growing! We are seeking an experienced, results-driven IT Recruiter to support our IT consulting recruitment efforts. We provide technology professionals on a contract basis to IT departments within major corporations and federal, state, and city government agencies. This is not a corporate HR recruiting role. We are looking for someone with staffing-agency experience who understands how to identify, engage, evaluate, and successfully place IT consultants in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan market. What We Are Looking For: At least 3–5 years of IT recruiting experience Previous experience working for a staffing or recruiting agency Experience recruiting IT consultants for: Major corporations Federal, state, or city government agencies Contract and consulting assignments Prior recruiting experience ideally in the New York City and New Jersey metropolitan area A demonstrated record of placing qualified candidates at a consistently high rate The ability to provide verifiable examples of recruiting success, such as: Number of placements made Placement or fill rates Submittal-to-interview ratios Interview-to-placement ratios Time-to-fill results Candidate retention or assignment-completion rates Achievement-oriented resumes will receive priority. We are not evaluating candidates based on years of experience alone. Resumes should clearly describe measurable recruiting accomplishments and evidence of successful IT placements. Responsibilities Source and recruit qualified IT professionals for consulting and contract opportunities Conduct thorough candidate pre-screening and qualification interviews Evaluate candidates’ technical experience, communication skills, career goals, availability, compensation requirements, and overall fit Present job opportunities clearly, accurately, and confidently Build candidate interest and obtain firm commitments before submission Confirm that candidates understand and accept the position’s requirements, work arrangement, compensation, and hiring process Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and placement process Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with IT professionals Submit well-qualified candidates who meet the client’s technical and professional requirements Verify candidate information and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system Follow up promptly on interviews, offers, onboarding requirements, and assignment-related matters Represent Donnelly & Moore professionally with candidates, clients, and business partners Get a jump start on the applications process Move to the front of the line in the selections process take our assessment.
