Job Description\n Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Department: LDRP\n *Certifications Required: BLS & NRP*\n - # L&D Beds: 14\n - Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: Ratios fluctuate, but do follow AWHONN staffing standards\n - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Intrauterine pregnancy, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, water births\n - Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes\n - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin, mag, insulin, antihypertensives, and medications for hemorrhages\n - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes\n - Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? Duties?: 1 OB tech per shift\n - Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / Charge nurses will create schedule with preferred schedule if able to accommodate\n - Weekend Requirements: Every third\n - Holiday Requirements: Holidays rotate major and minor holidays every 3 years\n - Floating Requirements: May voluntarily float to other departments in hospital to be a sitter or tasker.
