Tax Manager

Areas of Specialization Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: Business Tax Individual Tax (including review and signing responsibilities) State and Local Tax (SALT) High Net Worth Tax Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA with at least 5 years of progressive tax experience and a strong technical background in tax strategy and compliance. This individual enjoys solving complex tax issues, mentoring team members, and building long-term client relationships. This role is well suited for someone seeking continued career growth with the opportunity to advance into a Principal position and contribute to the growth of the firm. Key Responsibilities Review complex tax returns and provide technical guidance to team members Identify planning opportunities and recommend strategic tax solutions for clients Manage multiple engagements and ensure deadlines and client expectations are met Monitor engagement budgets, profitability, billing, and collections Mentor and support Associates and Senior Associates in their professional development Build and maintain strong client relationships through trusted advisory services Assist with proposal development and business development initiatives Participate in recruiting efforts and leverage professional networks for referrals Research technical tax matters and contribute to thought leadership content and publications #J-18808-Ljbffr CPS Inc.
