If you are an experienced Electrical Power Design Engineer with aerospace or (ideally) spacecraft hardware experience, then please apply! Design, develop, and test power electronics boards for space-based electrical power systems. Manage PCB layout and design reviews in collaboration with layout engineers. Develop FPGA, microcontroller, or microprocessor-based control and telemetry interfaces. Support hardware test, verification, and troubleshooting at the unit and subsystem level. Lead electronics design efforts throughout the product lifecycle. Support component selection suitable for space applications, including derating, radiation tolerance, and reliability considerations. Collaborate with systems, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing power electronics boards for space-based electrical power systems. Experience with FPGA, microcontroller, or microprocessor-based control and telemetry interfaces. Experience supporting hardware test, verification, and troubleshooting at the unit and subsystem level. Experience leading electronics design efforts throughout the product lifecycle. Knowledge of component selection suitable for space applications, including derating, radiation tolerance, and reliability considerations. Excellent collaboration skills and experience working with systems, manufacturing, and test engineering teams.
