About the Role

The Staffing Account Manager role is a career-launching opportunity for someone who wants to learn the staffing and talent acquisition industry from the ground up.

You will begin in recruiting, learning how to identify, engage, screen, and support candidates for client roles across technology, healthcare, and finance. Over your first 10 weeks, HTD Talent will provide structured training to help you understand recruiting fundamentals, industry terminology, candidate outreach, interviewing, client requirements, and placement workflows.

What You’ll Do

As an Associate Recruiter, you will:

• Learn how to recruit for technology, healthcare, finance, and professional services roles
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, databases, and other channels
• Conduct outreach to prospective candidates through email, phone, text, and LinkedIn
• Screen candidates to understand their experience, skills, career goals, and fit for client roles
• Help manage candidate pipelines from initial outreach through interview and placement
• Partner with internal account managers and sales leaders to understand client hiring needs
• Maintain accurate candidate and client activity in our recruiting systems
• Support interview coordination, follow-ups, and candidate communication
• Build market knowledge around talent trends, compensation, skills, and hiring demand
• Learn the business side of staffing, including client relationships, job orders, margins, commissions, and placements

Recruiting Path

After training, you may continue growing as a recruiter with the opportunity to earn commission based on successful placements.

Sales / Account Management Path

After building a strong recruiting foundation, you may have the opportunity to transition into sales or account management. In that path, you would learn how to identify prospective clients, develop business relationships, generate new accounts, and earn commission on placements made within those accounts.

What We’re Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must have already graduated or be graduating in Spring 2026
• Able to work in our Uptown Charlotte office three days per week
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable speaking with new people by phone, email, LinkedIn, and video
• Coachable, curious, and willing to learn a new industry
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage activity-based goals
• Interest in recruiting, sales, staffing, talent acquisition, or client-facing work

Preferred qualifications:

• Internship, campus leadership, sales, customer service, hospitality, athletics, or other competitive team-based experience
• Interest in technology, healthcare, finance, or business services
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
• Desire to grow into a commission-based recruiting or sales role
