Intellectual Property Assistant

AtriCure seeks an Intellectual Property Assistant to support patent lifecycle management, docketing, and reporting. The role involves coordinating with engineering teams, maintaining IP databases, preparing patent documentation, and assisting with administrative tasks across patents, trademarks, and licensing.

Responsibilities Coordinate IP docketing, reporting, and system updates for patent lifecycle Prepare and file patent prosecution documents and maintain organized records Manage patent renewal payments, maintenance fees, and billing operations Collaborate with engineers and inventors on invention disclosures and patent applications Generate portfolio analysis reports and support quarterly IP presentations Requirements Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast-paced environments Proficiency with database systems and IP docketing software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with patent documentation or intellectual property processes preferred
