CNC Lathe & Mill MachinistsExpress has multiple openings for CNC Lathe & Mill Machinists for our clients in the areas of Miramar and Poway.Pay Rate: $25 - 35/hr (depending on experience and position)Schedule: M-F, 1st and 2nd shift availableYou will need to be meticulous, strive for a safe and clean work environment, have previous CNC machining experience, and be available to work overtime.Job Highlights:Sets up and operates Fadal, Hwacheon, Kia and Toyoda MILL machines on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.Selects aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.May develop specifications from general description and draw sketch of part or product to be fabricated.Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly, using jigs, fixtures, surface plate, surface table, hand tools, and power tools.Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocksMay operate welding equipment to cut/weld parts.May install machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and test operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance.What We Look for in CNC Machinists:Training and Experience: Minimum of 4 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, and/or apprenticeship.Visual Acuity: Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts.Working Conditions: The employee may be subject to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, breathing fumes, dust and mist, skin exposure to oils, and cutting fluid.Apply Now!Call Express San Diego at for an immediate phone interview orSend your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io orVisit our office at 5414 Oberlin Drive Suite 110 San Diego Ca 92121What Makes Express Employment Professionals Different?Express Employment Professionals is a local employment agency that has been helping people find great jobs in the San Diego area for over 20 years.
