Job Description As a Security Officer Admission Screening in Pontiac, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.68 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, visitor processing, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, screen incoming guests and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access by following established security-related policies and escalation protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, paying close attention to restricted areas, access points, and other sensitive spaces where conditions may vary by site. Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident reports while supporting daily operations at a fast-paced technology-focused location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
