Machine Operator - Day Shift

Pay: $19/hour + production incentives

Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift (2-2-3 schedule) , 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM (or until production is complete)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Machine Operator to safely operate production equipment in a brick manufacturing facility. This role helps keep production running efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to meet production goals.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and product changeovers.
• Monitor equipment and report or help troubleshoot issues.
• Use hand tools for basic maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.
• Communicate with team members to keep production running smoothly.
• Assist other operators and learn additional plant functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods.
• Willingness to cross-train and learn new skills.

Work Environment

• Brick manufacturing facility with indoor and outdoor work areas.
• Non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, and mud.
• PPE required, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, and safety vest.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, NC.

The pay range for this position is $31200.00 - $39520.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Madison,NC.
