Store Manager

Job Summary A dynamic leader who reflects the company’s ethos around people, processes, operations and brand advocacy. This leader is responsible for personal sales, store sales goals, leading a team, managing operations, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and implementing strategies to achieve revenue goals. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance, training, and support to sales teams to improve sales techniques, strategies, and overall performance. Lead and supervise the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, training, development, and succession planning. Enhance employee engagement, nurture a positive workplace culture, and build effective teams. Achieve or surpass store and annual operating benchmarks. Evaluate team performance, objectives, and behaviors. Model the highest standards for surpassing customer expectations. Learn, model, and teach established sales and design processes. Sustain store profitability by maintaining profit and loss statements, financial metrics, and margins. Model and teach product knowledge; champion the company’s brand strategy and customer experience. Align merchandising, pricing, and product flow to company standards. Uphold brand visual standards in the store, ensuring cleanliness in employee and customer areas. Leverage store visit forms and host regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with staff. Ensure proper execution of existing and new systems and administrative procedures. Collaborate with support teams to ensure flawless execution of operational excellence. Adhere to legal and efficient accounting procedures. Plan and execute sales promotion and events to improve market presence and company performance. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 3‑5 years of experience in a business unit with a sales retail emphasis. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and financial understanding. Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, goal‑orientation, team management, and customer service skills. Availability for the schedule dictated by business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Requirements Experience managing in a retail environment with a strong focus on sales. Strong understanding of profit and loss and advanced business acumen. Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, and experience building effective relationships. Supervisory Responsibilities Up to 15 direct reports. Physical Demands / Work Environment Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods, use repetitive hand motions, hear and listen, sit, walk, bend, and stoop. Work performed in an indoor environment. Must pass background and drug screening.
