Licensed Commercial Insurance Producer, Bilingual French/English

ABOUT US Founded in 2018, Secursus (operated by Figural) is a licensed insurance broker specializing in cargo and parcel insurance. We design and distribute embedded shipping insurance programs for e-commerce merchants, marketplaces, logistics providers and carriers. Today, more than 40,000 businesses insure their shipments with Secursus against loss, damage and theft, including high-value goods that carriers and standard policies exclude. Our programs are placed with leading insurers such as Generali and Chubb in Europe, and our US subsidiary, Figural USA Inc., is based in Miami. We are building our US team and are looking for a licensed, bilingual insurance professional to grow our US book of business. THE ROLE Working directly with leadership, you will develop our commercial client portfolio in the United States, from prospecting to placement and account management. You will work closely with our headquarters in France, which is why French is essential. Key responsibilities Prospect and close new business clients: e-commerce merchants, marketplaces, 3PLs, freight forwarders, carriers and shipping platforms Collect risk information (shipping volumes, declared values, lanes, loss history) and build underwriting submissions Present risks to our carrier partners and negotiate terms: coverage, rates, deductibles and limits Prepare and present tailored proposals to clients Build distribution partnerships with agencies, brokers, technology integrators and logistics players Monitor the profitability and loss ratio of your portfolio and manage renewals Represent Secursus at US logistics, shipping and e-commerce trade shows WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR An active P&C producer license in your US resident state (mandatory) ; additional non-resident licenses are a plus Full professional fluency in English and French, written and spoken (mandatory) 3+ years of commercial insurance sales or account management experience with an agency, broker, MGA or carrier Commercial lines experience, ideally in inland marine, ocean cargo or transportation Solid technical knowledge: policy forms, rating, loss analysis A hunter mindset and a proven closing track record Authorization to work in the United States WHAT WE OFFER Base salary of $70,000 to $85,000 per year, plus uncapped commission on new business Fully remote position, anywhere in the United States Office space available near you if you prefer to work from an office Support to obtain additional non-resident state licenses as the business grows A high-impact role in a growing international company, with direct access to leadership Real career growth as we build our US team #J-18808-Ljbffr
