Industrial Process Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer — $97K-$118K DOE + Bonus | Leola, PA

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is hiring a Process Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer for our high-volume, 24/7 PVC pipe manufacturing plant in Leola, PA. Join a stable, low-turnover team (average tenure 6+ years) with real career growth into Technical, Commercial, or Leadership tracks.

Pay & Bonus

Base salary: $97,000-$118,000 DOE
Quarterly bonus up to 8% of base
Annual bonus up to 5% of base

What You'll Do

Lead manufacturing process improvement: reduce downtime, scrap, and material usage
Analyze production data (line rates, scrap, yield, uptime) to drive plant decisions
Own process guidelines (SOPs) and training for new products/systems
Support HSE regulatory compliance (~20-25% of role)
Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage capital projects: scope, RFQs, equipment installation, ramp-up
Work hands-on with the plant floor team — this is not a desk job

What You Need

B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Material Science, or related)
3+ years manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume, 24/7 continuous production environment
Experience with HSE regulatory compliance
Comfortable splitting time between office and plant floor (PPE required, exposure to heat/cold)

Nice to Have

PVC processing / extrusion experience
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Familiarity with OT networks, industrial controls, automation, PLCs
Project management track record

Schedule: M-F, 6:30 AM-4 PM (45-50 hrs/week) | Fully onsite | Travel up to 15% (training & meetings)
