Join Our Leadership Team as a District Manager

Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co. is looking for a District Manager to join our team for the Central United States area! Candidates are preferred to live in the Central US Region.

Inter-State Studio is a family-owned school photography and yearbook company that has been successfully serving schools for over 90 years. By listening to the needs of our customers and utilizing the latest technologies, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality school portraits and yearbooks with affordable pricing and excellent service.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven District Manager to lead and support multiple territory teams within an assigned region. This role is responsible for developing Territory Managers, driving business performance, supporting customer retention efforts, and ensuring operational excellence across the district.

This position is ideal for a leader who enjoys coaching others, solving complex challenges, building strong relationships, and helping teams achieve their goals.

What You'll Do

Lead & Develop Teams

• Coach, mentor, and support Territory Managers in achieving sales, operational, and customer service goals
• Provide leadership and accountability across assigned territories
• Support staffing, training, performance management, and employee development initiatives
• Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement

Drive Business Performance

• Partner with Territory Managers to achieve sales, retention, and profitability objectives
• Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Support customer pricing strategies, forecasting, and financial planning
• Review district performance and provide regular reporting to senior leadership

Support Operations & Customer Success

• Ensure photography, yearbook, and production deadlines are met across the district
• Promote consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and best practices
• Assist with customer retention, contract renewals, and relationship management
• Collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
• Leadership experience managing teams, preferably in a multi-location environment
• Strong business acumen with experience reviewing financial and operational performance
• Excellent coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities
• Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and virtual meeting platforms
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned district
