TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years Experience Required License: NC or Compact License Pending OK for Submittal Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could potentially result in a cancellation. The unit will accept first-time travelers. Ratio of patients is 5:1, with the option to run one over grid to 6:1. 36 hours can be offered within the contract. The unit will accept 13 weeks. Night shifts are from 18:45 to 07:15. RTO is limited to 7 days maximum. No call requirement. Floating is required as needed within the service line. Weekend coverage requires 3 weekends, totaling 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. The patient population includes pulmonary patients, general medical patients, and those with longer lengths of stay, including trach patients, COPD, and asthma. Special procedures for this unit include handling trachs, chest tubes, and non-invasive airway management, with no vents required. Staffing and scheduling are done through a self-scheduling system, balancing based on unit needs. Scrubs are not provided, and navy blue and white combinations are required. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as necessary. References can be pending at submission. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually. Pre-start modules are non-billable and should be separately margined from orientation hours.
