Karsten Auto is looking for a reliable, mechanically skilled Automotive Technician to join our back-of-house team. This role is focused on helping us move vehicles through recon quickly and efficiently so they are frontline-ready for sale.

We need someone who can inspect vehicles, diagnose common issues, perform light to moderate repairs, and help keep our inventory turning fast. This is a great fit for someone who works hard, stays organized, and takes pride in doing solid work without constant supervision.

We specialize heavily in Tesla and EV inventory, so experience with EVs is a plus, but not required. A strong general automotive background and willingness to learn are most important.

$22 - $27 hourly

• Inspect incoming vehicles and identify needed repairs or maintenance
• Perform light to moderate mechanical repairs and service work
• Help move vehicles through the recon process quickly and efficiently
• Communicate repair needs clearly with the BOH team
• Assist with diagnosing issues, test driving, and verifying repairs
• Support the team in getting the vehicle lot ready on schedule

• Strong mechanical ability and good problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and stay productive
• Experience with EVs or Teslas is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable in a fast-paced used car dealership environment
