Production Manager

Production ManagerLHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and ensure safety compliance. This role requires at least 10 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment and 5 years of supervisory experience. This direct hire role is in Woodridge, IL and the anticipated salary is between $100,000-$120,000 per year.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations and staff in the production department, including production planning and scheduling, inventory control, and maintenance of plant facilitiesAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve any production issues or make recommendations to managementReview preventative maintenance schedulingPerform daily walkthroughs to ensure equipment and machinery are functioning properlyCommunicate process changes and data reviews to managementDevelop and implement improvements to production efficiencyEnsure adherence to safety regulations and quality standardsUse dashboards or ERP reporting to monitor key production performance indicatorsQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or work experience required10+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environmentMinimum 5 years of supervisory experience requiredWorking knowledge of OSHA requirementsForklift certificationExperience with ERP or production management systemsExcellent attention to detailBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision401k with matching10 company holidays2 weeks PTO for the first 5 years of service, with increases to 3 weeks PTO after 5 years, and 4 weeks PTO after 10 yearsPaid sick leave where applicable by state law
