Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a key member dedicated to supporting learners with diverse abilities, you will help design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to encourage student success.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Michigan with required SPED endorsement
• Background teaching or supporting students with mild to moderate educational needs preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
• Skilled communicator, adept at building rapport with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to onsite teaching for the full school year

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting individualized goals as needed
• Develop and implement engaging instructional strategies and accommodations
• Facilitate collaborative meetings with IEP teams, including other educators and parents
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to student learning
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards
