Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or Behavior Analysis, active Autism certification, and 1+ years Autism Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Endorsement or proven experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Prior work as an Autism Specialist, ASD Teacher, or related Special Education role
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and individualized instruction for students with autism
- Strong behavior management and classroom organization skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction to students with autism, adapting curriculum to meet individual needs
- Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence
- Collect data to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Coordinate with classroom staff and related service providers to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
