We demonstrate this by providing state-of-the-art technology; an expert team of pathologists and technicians; comprehensive services; fast and reliable results; a patient-centered approach; and commitment to continuous improvement.Description:Maintains technical competency as related to the job functions.Understands pertinent LIS functions and performs downtime procedures effectively.Evaluates each procedure performed and chooses appropriate investigative techniques as indicated.Identifies and resolves problems that may adversely affect test results and notifies appropriate personnel.Determines acceptability of specimens by performing visual inspections or by recognizing abnormal/unusual results.Documents unacceptable specimens according to policy.
